Well, I’ve been sorting through all kinds of stuff that’s been piling up on the desk here and shredding, tossing, or filing whatever needs to be shredded, tossed, or filed. By the way, shredding also involves tossing. I don’t want anyone thinking that I shred documents and then file them away.
I’m one of those people who believes that when your environment becomes too cluttered it can affect you mentally and emotionally. I can let things go for a long while, but if it reaches that tipping point, I have to reclaim some space.
And that’s what I did on our server with the Numskullery files. I made a back-up of the files, downloaded it, and then deleted the account. Gone and gone.
Those entries may show up again, but they may not. It’s not like I was writing the geat American novel, you know. Now, I can re-direct Numskullery to point here, which I hope will make it easier for people to find me. I think now is a good time for that. People are away, or only checking blogs sporadically because of the holidays. When they check Numskullery, they’ll be taken here instead of the empty blog page that they visited for the last three weeks.
So, that’s one less thing I need to worry about.

You mean the empty blog from the last month.
Hey! Doesn’t it feel good to purge clutter? I purged my office at UWG a week or so ago when I moved to a different one. THAT was especially nice. Chucking old student papers in the trash and old announcement flyers and crap I never read in the first place.
BTW, you need to see Dawn of the Dead if you haven’t already. I wish I’d gone to see it in theaters. Pretty good for a horror/gore flick.
Don’t you mean Shawn of the Dead?
