Obligatory Halloween Pumpkin Post 2005

by Chris Maddera on October 29, 2005

I was going to put one of the usual halloween images that come with the kit on the pumpkin. But then, I thought, “Hey, why not put another fruit on this fruit?” And what’s my favorite fruity image (besides the way George W. Bush giggles like a little school girl)? The Apple logo, of course.

Oh yes, there is an entire army of geeks out there doing the exact same thing tonight…except their pumpkins are actually capable of running Mac OS X Tiger, and can access the Internets via a T1 connection.

But, you know, I try.

I am so jealous of your jack-o-lantern. Why didn’t I ever think of that?

You should totally send that picture to MacAddict. I bet they would print it in their “Recently Sighted” section.

Hey, actually, you just made me think of this (although I’m sure someone else has already coined it), but isn’t it really a mac-o-lantern?

That’s really cool! I just used one of the faces from the trace-on book for my jack-o-lantern this year. Eh, mine’s cool too. But yours is REALLY cool!

PS: got any ideas for nanowrimo yet? I am going to write a psychological thriller! You should write a melancholy comedy of errors!

Sweet Fruit. My apple-nut friend Clint did the same 2 years ago. Yours looks better.
