We looked around and couldn't find then, and finally asked the sales clerk where they were. He told us that they hadn't arrived yet, but when they did, they were going to put both of them right out. Both of them? Then when we noticed the gaggle of geeks waiting for PS2 we agreed there was no way in hell we were waiting around for hours and fighting a bunch of nerds for a PS2. It's been 5 years, and the price of the Playstation 2 has dropped from $299 (or was it originally $399? I can't remember) to $149 and I still haven't gotten one. Years ago, my boyfriend Conrad stood in the pre-dawn light in a line in front of Toys-r-us to get me a Furby. He had to do that for several mornings until he got one. But it was for regular price. That's as far as I'd go for an item, I think. I'd wake up early, drive an hour, something like that. But 5K for a gaming system?? No freaking way. I agree!!
